Kids Cookie Cutter Activities for the Holidays
The traditional Christmas holiday cookie cutters are always great fun for children when they are allowed to choose their own shapes and decorate the cookies themselves when they are done.
However, instead of using regular cookie dough you can make your favorite fudge or Rice Krispy treat, let them set up, and cut out different holiday shapes with the cookie cutters. Kids will also enjoy making Christmas ornaments with holiday cookie cutters which can be easily done by mixing one cup each of cinnamon and applesauce into a clay-like texture then rolling it out and cutting them with the cookie cutters. If necessary, you can add a little more cinnamon or some flour to make them easier to shape.
Leave the ornaments to air dry on wax paper for a few days turning them over each day until they are dry. A hole for hanging them with ribbon or string can be easily placed in them after with a plastic straw. Halloween cookie cutters can also be great fun for kids, decorating the many different traditional shapes of ghost, pumpkins, and witches.

I used these animal cookie cutters to make Birthday sugar cookies for a Zoo-Bilee party for my 2 year old daughter. They did the job- they were a bit smaller than I originally anticipated, but upon finishing all the cookies, I liked the smaller size for consumption by kids. Dough can be manipulated to make a few different animals (I used the lion cutter to make a tiger (cut off the mane) and bear (push back the mane to make a shoulder hump & lower the muzzle) cookie as well). Overall, a good product!

I ordered these to make cookies for a jungle themed baby shower. I was not able to find this set anywhere else. It arrived quickly and in great shape. They held shape and were easy to use. Just make sure that the cookie dough is really cold and that you dust the cutters with flour to get all the details.

|Fast, inexpensive & does the job,
I ordered cookie cutters for a baby shower that I am throwing this weekend. I was worried that they would not get to me in time, and I need to make the cookies and do all of the icing, etc. It took 3 days for these to get to me, so I will have plenty of time, for which I am so grateful!
